DBR provided MEP engineering and energy modeling services for a new graduate student housing complex at the University of Texas at Austin. Designed by Kirksey Architecture to support the university’s growing graduate population, the project consists of six buildings with a mix of 2-story and 5-story buildings, totaling approximately 350,000 square feet. The development includes 784 beds, common meeting spaces, and shell space for a future retail component. The project emphasizes community, connection, and sustainability through a walkable site design and energy-efficient systems.
