Commissioning at DBR
As the sustainable building movement grows and evolves into building code requirements, we predict the commissioning process will become a standard part of building design and construction. DBR is one of the industry leaders in this field as we have an internal building commissioning department.
Since 2005, we have provided more than 35 projects building commissioning services to commercial, government, K-12, and university clients. Our goal is for our clients to take delivery of a building that is energy efficient and operating at its best.
To best serve our clients, DBR commissioning services involve the entire firm including our plan review, design and sustainability departments, energy modelers, and engineers. Your DBR commissioning agent will have the full cooperation of each individual in our firm. Our staff is experienced with the documentation, testing, review, and evaluation of building stems and ably performs the administrative duties including meetings an reporting that are essential for the process.
Commissioning serves as the third set of eyes in the design process. As the commissioning provider, we demonstrate its value to our client by documenting our findings, observations, and recommendations.
Our in-house commissioning department simplifies the process of informing the team faster than the usual commissioning-to-owner-to-architect-to-engineer process.
