On Wednesday, June 4th, DBR and several local companies attended The Fort Bend County Women’s Center’s Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony for its newest PennyWise Resale Center in Richmond, Texas.

The FBWC’s mission is to assist survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children achieve safety and self-sufficiency while striving to prevent violence against women. The PennyWise Resale Centers create revenue to support the FBWC’s client programs by offering donated goods to the public at low prices. They also afford FBWC clients and their children an opportunity to find free clothing, furniture, and other household items, which are major necessities in establishing a household independent of their batterers when they leave the shelter. For more information about the Fort Bend County Women’s Center please visit their website http://www.fortbendwomenscenter.org/ .

DBR strongly supports the mission of the FBWC and is proud to have been able to provide our design services for the PennyWise Resale Center.
