DBR
has extensive experience in design and modification
of theaters and pavilions. From auditoriums to outdoor
pavilions, some challenging facets of design involves
ensuring comfort for the performers as well as incorporating
state-of-the-art lighting and multi-media equipment.
Blockbuster
– Sony Center
A 125,000 square foot
facility. In the summer the lawn can accommodate
25,000 spectators as an outdoor amphiteater. In
the winter, the center becomes an enclosed, climate
controlled performing arts theater for up to 7,000
guests. Designed by Sustaita Associates, and built
in 1994.

Redesign HVAC ductwork
to integrate with Houston Symphony Orchestra Acoustical
Shell. The original design performed by others
did not accommodate the acoustical shell. Our
firm redesigned the ductwork system and worked
with an acoustical consultant to provide correct
air flow and temperature with minimum noise levels. |
